Evergreen Haiku Study Group November Meeting

Evergreen Haiku Study group is an online monthly study group.

The November 2023 meeting will be hosted by Jennifer Burd. For this meeting, we will discuss a chapbook of haiku, Ebbing Shore, by Crystal Simone Smith. The haiku in this Touchstone Award-winning book are based on sites and artifacts related to slavery in the United States. Each meeting will feature the following activities:

• a ten-minute Haiku Way or Favorite Haiku talk by one of our members
• a Read Around by all of haiku in progress 
• short Check-ins and other discussion in breakout rooms
• and one of the following:
  • Guest Poet Reading and Workshop or
  • Reading the Chapbook Together or
  • Kukai or
  • Anonymous Critique.
