"Detroit: Workers, Teachers, Lovers" Book Launch Celebration with Will "The Poet" Langford

Join us as we welcome Will "The Poet" Langford for a poetry reading and celebration of his first book of poetry, "Detroit: Workers, Teachers, Lovers." 

A book signing and reception will follow in the LookOut Gallery, 2nd floor, Snyder Hall.

As performance artist, Langford’s poetry has garnered Motown Mic Spoken Word Artist of the Year, “Best of Show” in the American Advertising Awards, a Michigan Emmy Award, and the 2021 Mark Ritzenhein Emerging Poet Award, sponsored by the Lansing Poetry Club.

Langford’s first poetry book, Detroit: Workers, Teachers, Lovers, is available from Finishing Line Press.
