Center for Poetry Seeks Student Interns

The RCAH Center for Poetry at MSU seeks student interns for the 2023-2024 academic year. We are looking for undergraduate students with excellent organizational skills and an interest in poetry, writing, and/or literature. Experience in graphic and/or web design, photography/video, and/or social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, are highly desirable.
 
This internship offers a starting wage of $12/hour and rich experience and mentoring in areas such as public relations/communication, event planning, publishing, contest administration, and community engagement, and may be taken optionally for academic credit.
 
Regular hours are scheduled around each intern's availability and fall on weekdays between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening hours required to staff visiting writer events. Student interns are expected to work six to eight hours per week during fall and spring semester class weeks.
