Lansing Book Party and Book Crawl

Join book-loving Lansing-ites, poets, authors and booksellers for a celebration of the written and spoken word. The Lansing Book Party is a city-wide event, featuring a book crawl, pop-up open mics, workshops and author events, as well as a spoken word poetry show featuring Ephraim Nehemiah & Friends.

The Center for Poetry is pleased to share space during the book crawl with Wayfaring Booksellers (inside REO Town Marketplace), 1027 S Washington Ave., Lansing. Stop by and collect a button and enter for a chance to win a limited edition broadside.

 

This is a grassroots, community event, created and operated by local indie booksellers. We hope you'll buy some books, but it's otherwise pretty much free to attend. We don't have corporate sponsors or agendas, just an abiding love of books and a belief that Lansing can be a fun and interesting place to live. Thanks for being a part of this- have fun!
